From A Mother's Cupboard - Rainbow Layered Finger Jello

A good friend of mine from preschool (yes...preschool..long long time friends) always had yummy Rainbow Layered Finger Jello at her birthday parties. Eye catching and oh so good! The kids love them and a no mess snack for mom :)

Rainbow Layered Finger Jello

Colored Layers:

4 (3 oz) boxes of Jello

4 c boiling water

4 envelopes of Knox Gelatin

White Layers:

1 can Sweetened condensed milk

1 1/2 c boiling water

1/2 c cold water

4 envelopes Knox Gelatin

Lightly grease a 9x13 pan. Mix 1 pkg jello with 1 env knox gelatin & 1 c boiling water. Mix til dissolved. Pour into pan, remove any bubbles using a fork and place in fridge on a flat surface. Let set 15 min while mixing white layer.

Put 4 envelopes knox gel in a bowl. Pour 1/2 c cold water over powder and stir, let set. Pour 1 1/2 c boiling water over mixture and whisk. Add 1 can sweetened condensed milk and stir. Pour 1 c of milk mixture over the set jello and refridge for 10-15 min.

Repeat layers as many times as you want. The milk recipe will make 4 layers. If the milk mixture thickens too much while waiting for the jello to set, you can place it in the microwave for a few second until it melts...stir again to smooth out. Cut into rectangles or us cookie cutters to make cute shapes. Have fun & experiment with different colors. Red/White for VDay, Red/Green for Christmas etc
