Twinkle Twinkle..My Little Star | Dandy Wishes

In honor of dandelion season and the little hands that carry bouquets of sunshine:

A dandelion is a lovely thing
A gift only a child would bring
Grown where tiny feet can trod,
Symbols of love placed by God.

Too sweet! Yes.. to some dandelions are weeds but to a child they are beautiful flowers. Pick a few, leaving the stems long and tie them together to make a dandelion flower crown. Your child will feel so special showing off their hand made flowered tiara treasure! Shine, Shine, Shine!

Twinkle Twinkle....My Little Star

Warm up your senses with Kool-Aid Playdough!!

It's easy as 1,2,3...ok and maybe 4.

1/2 cup salt
3 tbsp oil
1 sm pkg Kool-Aid

Combine the above ingredients. Add in 1 cup boiling water. Stir and knead until it forms a soft ball. Store in a sealed bag or storage container. This playdough will stimulate smell and tactile senses, while developing fine motor strength. Get out your cookie cutters and rolling pin and get ready to squish and pound this non-toxic playdough.
